Imagine a machine more than 100 years old that looks as pristine as this gorgeous Remington! As good as it looks, it types even better. We do our best to recondition these historical relics so they function as closely as possible to how they would have coming off the showroom floor. This machine may have been used to write about Word War I or the Spanish flu, with both devastating the United States at the time. After the Treaty of Versailles (end of WW I), the French Commander-in-chief said, “This is not a Peace. It is an Armistice for 20 yearsâ€. Twenty years and 65 days later, WW II began and when it did, the same machine would have been in peak condition to handle the job again.
