I came in knowing fairly (very) little about typewriters, their care, their maintenance, and the best way to use them, but that all changed after coming here. I had contacted Typewriter Muse because I wanted to repair a typewriter that had been an old gift I'd never gotten around to using but had no idea how to fix, and I was walked through every step of the repair, what was needed, the time it would take to fix, and even given an information sheet on my own piece once I returned to pick it up. I was also able to pick up a new typewriter that caught my eye, there were plenty of lovely typewriters for me to look at, try out, and even buy if I felt so inclined. It was a straightforward experience, made easy by such an insightful and thoughtful host. I can't imagine going anywhere else if I have any other, future typewriter needs.
